About this site

tourneymanager.net was, from 2006 to about 2010, the home of Tourney Manager, a Windows results tracker for sit-and-go and tournament players written by RVG Software. The domain lapsed after the software was abandoned.

This site was set up in September 2026 on the expired domain as an independent reference: what the program was, what its reports showed, why it mattered at the time, and where the same job is done today. It also carries a few original articles on the maths the software was built around — sample size and variance, and the Independent Chip Model — with the code behind them published.

What it is not: it is not run by, endorsed by, or connected to RVG Software, the original developer, or Holdem Manager. The software is not sold or distributed here, no licence codes can be issued or recovered, and the reconstructed screens on the reports page are drawings made for this site, not original screenshots. The pages /ScreenShots.htm, /Download.htm and /Register.htm exist because those were the addresses linked to from forums and blogs; each explains what the original page was.

Corrections and additions — especially from people who used the program — are welcome by e-mail: hello at this domain.
