Reports and screens
The original site had a ScreenShots page with captures of the program. Those images are not reproduced here. The figures below are reconstructions drawn for this archive from how users and reviews described the screens; the numbers in them are illustrative.
1. Tournament list
The main window was a grid: one row per imported tournament with site, date, buy-in, type (SNG / MTT, table size), finish, players and net result. Sorting and filtering on any column; the filter bar at the top covered site, date range and buy-in band.
2. Finish distribution
The report most people posted screenshots of. For a chosen filter it counted every finishing position and showed count, percentage and net for each. For a 9-max SNG player this is the fastest way to see whether losses come from busting early (a preflop-aggression problem) or from bubbling and finishing 4th (an ICM problem).
3. ROI by buy-in and site
A pivot-style table: rows for each buy-in level (optionally split by site), columns for count, ITM %, average finish, profit and ROI. This is where you found out that your $22 games were subsidising your $33 experiment.
| Buy-in | Tourneys | ITM % | Avg finish | Profit | ROI |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $6.50 | 88 | 42.0 | 4.6 | +$96 | 16.8% |
| $11 | 412 | 39.1 | 4.8 | +$547 | 12.1% |
| $22 | 160 | 36.9 | 5.0 | +$132 | 3.8% |
| $33 | 41 | 31.7 | 5.4 | –$99 | –7.3% |
Illustrative figures. How many tournaments it takes before a table like this means anything is the subject of this article.
4. Results graph
Cumulative net profit against tournament number, with the option to overlay expected value once the program had a large enough sample. The screenshot on the original site showed a healthy up-sloping line; at least one blogger admitted his own, after 17 tournaments, did not look like that.
